Meet The Team

I am a board certified Family Medicine physician with over 20 years experience.  I am focused on establishing trusting relationships with patients through education and an open communication style.  I have brought together a strong, experienced team to ensure our practice meets our patients highest expectations and healthcare goals.

Victoria has been dedicated in serving the healthcare community for over 30 years. She has extensive qualifications in healthcare administration, billing, authorizations and much more.  Her willingness to assist patients in solving issues and answering questions, puts her above the rest.   She is very excited to take on her new role as Office Manager and welcome new and prior patients to our new office.  

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and "furever" friend, Charlie.   She is a frequent visitor to northern Michigan and loves exploring the great outdoors.  She looks forward to helping our patients with all their medical needs.  

We are excited to introduce our new medical assistant, Sabrina B.    She is a Certified Medical Assistant with over 8 yrs of experience in primary and specialist care.   She enjoys meeting new patients and providing the highest level of quality care.  She is skilled at blood draws, anticipating patient needs, and has a compassionate approach to her patient encounters.  When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews.   She looks forward to meeting all of our current and future patients! 

We are happy to announce that after 35 years of dedicated service as a Certified Medical Assistant,  Janice has chosen to retire on 4/5/24.   She will be missed by the staff and patients who all appreciated her experience in providing compassionate care.   You may still see her on occasion, as we hope for frequent return visits to the office.  We wish her all the best in her new chapter of life! 

Gina Bednarski is our Social Media Manager, in charge of representing Essential Care Family Medicine across multiple social media channels.  She enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling alongside her husband, three kids, and their Golden Doodle- Charlie.
